Dr Abeyawardana moved to the North East with his family in 2017. He and his family are enjoying the lifestyle that the North East of Victoria provides. Dr Abeyawardana studied medicine in Pakistan at the Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, where he graduated in 2000. He speaks several languages including : English, French, German, Sinhalese, Tamil and Urdu.
Dr Abeyawardana’s hobbies include playing cricket and travelling.
